Benefit for injured high school grappler May 27
The Millburn Item - Millburn and Short Hills (NJ)
Join the friends and family of Carl Riccio, the Watchung Hills Regional High School wrestler who sustained a severe neck injury during a match in February, at a benefit fundraiser to be held Tuesday, May 27.
"Carl, the Ultimate Warrior, Riccio" reception and dinner will be held at Mayfair Farms in West Orange from 7 to 11 p.m.
Riccio, a junior at Watchung Hills, severely injured his spinal cord when he attempted to throw an opponent from St. Peter's Prep during a Feb. 22 match at Newton.
Guests will have the opportunity to bid on items for auction, including sporting events, memorabilia, travel, fashion, home decor, fitness and more.
Tickets may be purchased for $100 per person at Sports Minded Unlimited and Warren Health and Racquet Club in Warren Township. In addition, tickets by mail may be purchased by calling (212) 696-6692.
